birdshooter > Bald Eagle in Bear Creek Park; note the white goose feather in his beak! I wonder what he had for lunch?
birdshooter > This Bald Eagle visited Brazos Bend State Park in southwest Harris County, TX on the coldest day of the year (so far). Willing to go out in severe cold weather we, fellow nature photographer Jay Mangum and I, continued on throughout the day as the temperature dropped from 80 down to 30's. We were rewarded for our perserverance when we witnessed this bald eagle fly over Big Creek and land on this perch. He was chased away by a blue jay but returned to the same limb and stayed long enough for us to take serveral photos of him.
