birdshooter > Driving south on FM1409 from Liberty, TX I saw this Red-shouldered Hawk perched on the wire, being dive bombed by some mockingbirds. I quickly stopped my truck, backed up and started shooting. These fights don't ususally last long so the window for some action photos is short. This fight lasted for about 5 minutes and drove the hawk south away from the mockers nest. They eventually drove it in to the woods across the street.
