    Red-tailed Hawk Immature

I saw this hawk from the road headed to Panther Junction. I turned around and got to a 90 degrees of his perch. After finding a place to park the truck, I got out with my D500 & Nikkor 200-500 lens and began to stalk him. Surprisingly, he let me approach him very close. I was the highlight of the day's bird images.
