This was taken my first day at Maroon Bells, Monday, and most people would be satisfied with this photo of the Bells. I thought I could do better and knew that if there were some clouds in the sky it would really help fill in the void in the sky. That became a reality when I returned on Friday, 9-19, and found the sky beginning to cloud up. Many photographers left before the clouds moved into the picture and they missed a great opportunity. One of the traits of a good landscape photographer is patience.
