Jim and Jay discussing Canon tricks
This part of the Refuge is very active with birds. There are sandpipers, rails, bitterns, pipits, sparrows, blackbirds, herons, egrets, waterfowl, and others in this body of water. The ponds were at low levels and in need of a good rain.
You will also see fly-by raptors, geese, and warblers frequent the small patch of willows.
