These vineyards are terraced layers which are hand made. All of the terraces you see have a wall of rock holding the soil up. The small rocks were all hand laid. It is an amazing sight.
On a tour to the Sandeman winery our tour bus made the slow trek up the mountain. I had my camera ready to take this shot of the river through the window glass of the bus. First, I picked a seat with a clean window. Second, I mounted a rubber lens hood on my 24-85mm lens so it would block out the reflection. Then it;s just a matter of finding the right scene. Viola!
We are off to Anahuac NWR again, see you later in the day.
