Entrance to LeBroc
During a stay in Provence about seven years ago, we drove up to the village of LeBroc from Vence where we were staying. Many of these small villages you cannot drive into them. You have to park outside and walk in. That was the case of LeBroc.
As soon as we approached the entrance I saw the composition and asked Mary Alice to wait a minuted or two. I just love this photo. It has a disappearing walkway that makes you wonder where it goes. It has a lot of texture that you can almost feel with your fingers. And, it has balance; the open gate on the right and the fountain on the left, two equal subjects.
