Soltol Vista Milky Way
Big Bend National Park is the darkest place in the USA and that's why I make the 10 hr drive. In the middle of the Park is a place called Soltol Vista. It's a plateau and parking area that attracts photographers like honey to bees. This photo was taken last year, August 1st. Yes, it was hot, but we had the Park to ourselves.
What you are looking at is the core of the Earth's galaxy. Our solar system is just one pin point of that galaxy.
