While we stayed in the Provence region of France, my wife and I would visit the "perched villages" of the south. I fell i love with the old doors I would find as we wandered around different villages. This particular door, Atelier Prasse, which means "press workshop," appeared to be at least a hundred years old. It has a vine planted by the foot that arches over the doorway. It was in the perched village of Le Broc.
What beautiful old stonework. And yes, I do love old doors too. This is such a fabulous shot and it makes me what to see what's behind the door and those walls. Yes, I think we are a lot alike in what attracts us to make a photo of. Good job.
