The main gate of Entrevaux was guarded by two Knights Templar, complete with swords.
There are nine (9) zig-zag walls from the village up to the chateau.

Entrevaux takes is past serious with two Knights Templar greeting visitors. The knights were complete with head mail and swords and that red cross.
